What factors are required for graphite paper processing

Graphite paper is a special paper processed from graphite as raw material. When graphite was just excavated from the ground, it was just like scales, and it was soft and was called natural graphite. This graphite must be processed and refined in order to be useful. First, soak the natural graphite in a mixture of concentrated sulfuric acid and concentrated nitric acid for a period of time, then take it out, rinse it with water, dry it, and then put it into a high-temperature furnace for burning. The following Furuite graphite editor introduces the prerequisites for the production of graphite paper:

Because the inlays between the graphites evaporate rapidly after being heated, and at the same time, the volume of the graphite rapidly expands by dozens or even hundreds of times, so a kind of broad graphite is obtained, which is called “expanded graphite”. There are many cavities (left over after the inlays are removed) in the expanded graphite, which greatly reduces the bulk density of the graphite, which is 0.01-0.059/cm3, light in weight and excellent in heat insulation. Because there are many holes, different sizes, and unevenness, they can be criss-crossed with each other when an external force is applied. This is the self-adhesion of expanded graphite. According to the self-adhesion of expanded graphite, it can be processed into graphite paper.

Therefore, the prerequisite for the production of graphite paper is to have a complete set of equipment, that is, a device for preparing expanded graphite from immersion, cleaning, burning, etc., in which there is water and fire. It is especially important; the second is the papermaking and pressing roller machine. The linear pressure of the pressing roller should not be too high, otherwise it will affect the evenness and strength of the graphite paper, and if the linear pressure is too small, it is even more unacceptable. Therefore, the formulated process conditions must be accurate, and the graphite paper is afraid of moisture, and the finished paper must be packaged in moisture-proof packaging and stored properly.
