Product Usage
D465 brake pads with different graphite content were pressed by dry powder metallurgy, and the effects of artificial graphite on the properties of friction materials were studied by LINK inertial bench test. The results show that artificial graphite has little effect on the physicochemical and mechanical properties of friction materials. With the increase of artificial graphite content, the friction coefficient of friction materials decreases gradually, and the wear amount decreases first and then increases. The effect of artificial graphite on the noise occurrence of friction materials also presents the same trend. According to the comparison of physical and chemical properties, mechanical properties, friction coefficient and wear data, the friction material has the best friction and wear performance and noise performance when the content of artificial graphite is about 8%.

In the production process of raw materials after high temperature graphitization and purification treatment, high purity, high degree of graphitization of artificial graphite is easier to form a transfer film on the friction material and the dual surface, its wear reduction performance is excellent;
