For the study of high-temperature performance of expanded graphite, there is a set of special high-temperature furnace, sample device fixture and extension device for testing deformation, and a 1000-degree high-temperature testing machine is combined with general material testing machines and testing instruments.

The testing device consists of a testing machine, a high-temperature furnace and a high-temperature mechanical performance testing device. The high temperature furnace is installed on the adjusting beam of the oil pressure testing machine, and rises or falls at a speed of 30cm/minde with the help of the beam to assemble and disassemble the sample and extensometer. In order to adapt to the test, the main technical indexes of the circular resistance furnace are: rated power of 4.5kW, rated voltage of 220V and rated temperature of 1000 degrees. In order to keep the peripheral space of the furnace at room temperature and prevent the specimen from oxidation, water cooling device and protective gas were used respectively in the sealing part of the furnace.

The measurement of load and displacement can be divided into automatic recorder and direct reading. The automatic recorder adopts load sensor and displacement sensor, and the signal is amplified by 6D-ZG resistance-inductance strain instrument and then input into the function recorder for recording. The test device consists of a testing machine, a high-temperature furnace and a sample fixture. During the test, adjust the specimen to contact with the pressure head, open the oil fume inlet valve, and then adjust the dial indicator (or dial indicator) to test the deformation of the specimen after the specimen bears the preload (the weight of the preload block).
