How to extend the service life of graphite paper

Graphite paper is widely used in electronic equipment, and graphite paper is used in many parts to dissipate heat. Graphite paper will also have a service life problem during use, as long as the correct use method can better extend the service life of graphite paper. The following editor will explain to you the correct way to extend the service life of graphite paper:

Graphite paper1

1. Graphite paper can be connected in parallel as much as possible. If the resistance value of the graphite paper is not the same, the graphite plate with high resistance will be concentrated in series, resulting in a rapid increase in the resistance of a certain graphite paper and a shortened life.

2. The greater the amount of current applied to the graphite paper, the higher the surface temperature of the graphite paper. It is recommended to use the smallest possible surface load density (power). Please note that the value recorded at the cold end of the graphite paper is the current and voltage at 1000 ℃ in the air, which is not consistent with the actual application. Under normal circumstances, the surface power of graphite paper is obtained from the relationship between the temperature in the furnace and the surface temperature. It is recommended to use the surface power (W/cm2) of 1/2~1/3 of the limit density of the graphite plate, and high temperature resistant graphite paper.

3. When using graphite paper continuously, it is hoped to increase the resistance slowly to maintain a long life.

4. For the temperature distribution characteristics of graphite paper, the inspection standard is that it is within 60 °C within the effective fever length. Of course, the temperature distribution will increase with its aging, and it can eventually reach 200 °C. The specific temperature distribution changes are also different due to the different atmosphere and operating conditions in the furnace.

5. After the graphite paper is heated in the air, a dense silicon oxide film is formed on the surface, forming an anti-oxidative protective film, which plays a role in extending the life. In recent years, various coatings have been developed to avoid cracking of graphite paper for use in furnaces with various gases.

6. The higher the operating temperature of graphite paper, the shorter the service life. Therefore, after the furnace temperature exceeds 1400 °C, the oxidation rate will be accelerated and the service life will be shortened. During use, be careful not to let the surface temperature of the graphite paper become too high.

The graphite paper produced by Furuite graphite is made of expanded graphite by rolling and roasting, and has high temperature resistance, thermal conductivity, flexibility, resilience and good sealing. If you have any purchasing needs, please feel free to inquire.
