Global distribution of flake graphite resources

According to the report of the US Geological Survey (2014), the proven reserves of natural flake graphite in the world are 130 million tons, of which Brazil has reserves of 58 million tons and China has reserves of 55 million tons, ranking among the top in the world. Today, the editor of Furuite Graphite will tell you about the global distribution of flake graphite resources:

we
From the global distribution of flake graphite, although many countries have discovered flake graphite minerals, there are not many deposits with a certain scale for industrial use, mainly concentrated in China, Brazil, India, the Czech Republic, Mexico and other countries.
1. China
According to the statistics of the Ministry of Land and Resources, as of the end of 2014, China’s crystalline graphite ore reserves were 20 million tons, and the identified resource reserves were about 220 million tons, mainly distributed in 20 provinces and autonomous regions such as Heilongjiang, Shandong, Inner Mongolia and Sichuan, among which, Shandong and Heilongjiang are the main producing areas. The reserves of cryptocrystalline graphite in China are about 5 million tons, and the proven resource reserves are about 35 million tons, which are mainly distributed in 9 provinces and autonomous regions including Hunan, Inner Mongolia and Jilin. Among them, Chenzhou, Hunan is the concentration of cryptocrystalline graphite.
2. Brazil
According to the statistics of the US Geological Survey, the reserves of graphite ore in Brazil are about 58 million tons, of which natural flake graphite reserves exceed 36 million tons. Graphite deposits in Brazil are mainly distributed in Minas Gerais and Bahia, and the best flake graphite deposits are located in Minas Gerais.
3. India
India has graphite reserves of 11 million tons and resources of 158 million tons. There are 3 graphite mine belts, and the graphite mines with economic development value are mainly distributed in Andhra Pradesh and Orissa.
4. Czech Republic
The Czech Republic is the country with the most abundant flake graphite resources in Europe. The flake graphite deposits are mainly distributed in the South Czech Republic. The flake graphite deposits in the Moravia region with a fixed carbon content of 15% are mainly microcrystalline graphite, and the fixed carbon content is about 35%.
5. Mexico
The flake graphite mines that have been discovered in Mexico are all microcrystalline graphite, mainly distributed in Sonora and Oaxaca. The developed Hermosillo flake graphite ore microcrystalline graphite has a grade of 65% to 85%.
