Ezi zinto zisebenziseka lula zinokufumana ezinye iindlela zokusebenza, ukusuka kwiinzwa zegesi ukuya kwiiphaneli zelanga.
Izixhobo ezininzi ze-elektroniki zisebenzisa iifilimu zegrafiti ukuqhuba nokususa ubushushu obuveliswa zizinto ze-elektroniki. UDeokar, uCosta kunye noogxa babo baphuhlise indlela ekhawulezayo neyonga amandla yokwenza amaphepha e-graphite amalunga ne-100 nanometers ubukhulu. Iqela lisebenzise indlela ebizwa ngokuba yi-chemical vapor deposition (CVD) ukukhulisa iifilimu ze-graphite ezinobukhulu be-nanometer (NGFs) kwi-nickel foil, apho i-nickel ikhuthaza ukuguqulwa kwe-hot methane ibe yi-graphite kumphezulu wayo. “Sifikelele kwi-NGF ngenyathelo lokukhula kwe-CVD lemizuzu emi-5 kuphela kubushushu bokusabela obungama-900 degrees Celsius,” utshilo uDeokar.
